Division of the Colleges

11 06 2008

As the number of people who want to receive the education is increasing from the year to year, the colleges have become more selective in the acceptance of the students. And if you want to become a student, you have to know several things.

All the universities are divided into following three groups:
•    Less selective;
•    More selective;
•    Very selective;
Less selective ones: such colleges are taking into the consideration two facts whether you are satisfy all the college’s demands and whether the college is able to provide you with the proper education.

More selective ones: such colleges are stricter while choosing the applicants. They are looking at the ACT scores, grades, and term papers, achievements during the previous study and at the personal essay.

Very selective colleges: such colleges are taking into account all the above-mentioned factors and in addition to them, they take into account each of student school experience. It is very difficult to become a student of such colleges, and, as a rule, all the students, who manage to enroll there, are very experienced and highly educated specialists.

Some schools are taking into account your financial situation; in some cases, they do not pay any attention to it.
